Grey walked solemly down the street in front of ole WWWUSA. his eyes covered by thick sunglasses and his body wrapped in a black coat. A large brown hawk sat perched upon his shoulder, glaring at anyone who might have mustered the courage to look at it.

Grey: so even america has a hidden wizard society... color me impressed.

His voice was deep, and his accent was a peculiar mix of french and japanese (though neither was so strong that he couldn't be understood)

*stops at the sign for Weasleys' wizard wheezes*

Hawk: *screech*

Grey: Yes yes, I know it's hard to maintain a serious reputation when you're seen entering a joke shop... but it's important to indulge your inner child every now an again...

[Sam]

Henry sat at the counter, bored out of his mind. Ever since Sam left to watch over Ryland's shop, he hadn't been able to mess around like usual. He had to be professional.

[steven]

Grey hefted the door aside, and lost himself as soon as he saw the stores contents. In a manner that completely betrayed the image his business suit conveyed he began running through the aisles, his eyes and hands darting across the variety of objects on display.

Grey:*to his hawk* Look at them, Tetsuko-chan, and these here, and those.... I have no idea what they do but they certainly look like fun.

Tetsuko: ....... (not even pretending to look enthusiastic)

[Sam]

Henry watched the strange man. "Please don't break anything," he said in a bored voice.

[steven]

Grey: oro? *spins around, noticing Henry for the first time*

He pauses for a moment, then suddenly his eyes widen in amazement and he runs to the checkout counter.

Grey: Oh look, it's a real life American! Just like the movies, Tetsuko-chan! *Grabs Henry's hand and starts shaking it violently* Good day to you, young american bag-boy! I trust you're well?

[Sam]

Henry watched his hand get shaken to pieces with little interest. "Yeah, I'm fine. Am I to assume you're a foriegner of some kind?" he asked sarcastically.

[steven]

Grey: *eyes get so wide his face almost gets warped* ... Vow.... how did you know, and here I was supposed to be discreet...

[Sam]

"I'm psychic," he stated, turning back to the magazine he was reading.

[steven]

Grey: *Carrying on, his lack of experience with english making him incapable of spotting sarcasm* A psychic, what formidable power you have... yet you waste it here...

He remembered his reason for coming to the country suddenly, and a wave of fear suddenly swept over him.

Grey: You're not an Auror by chance, are you?

[Sam]

"No, and I'm not a psychic either. You obviously need practice with sarcasm. Now, what do you want?"

[steven]

Grey: Oh, not an Auror? Thank goodness for you see-GAH! *He stops here, as Tetsuko clamps her beak onto his ear*

He was about to say "For you see, I've already killed four of them to get here, and I'm getting rather tired" but his hawk had reasoned that this was a terribly stupid thing to say out loud, hence the bite.

After a second, Grey regained himself.

Grey: What am I doing here? I've come to spend an obscene ammount of money on relatively worthless items. It's a hobby of mine.

[Sam]

Henry eyed the bird. "Look, no need to tell me all your secrets and such, but if you act that suspicous with a joke shop clerk, you're going to have some trouble down the road when you encounter people who do want to know about you. Now, what are you looking for?"

[steven]

Grey: Surely you don't insinuate that my behavior is conspicuous! I'm very much indistinguishable from your normal yankee. As to the provisions I require... I'm a terribly large fan of anything that bright and loud.

[Sam]

"You just keep believing that you blend in. See how far you get." He climbed off his stool and came around the counter. He wore baggy jeans and a white T-shirt. His eyes and hair were brown as he hadn't felt like turning them colors that morning. "Come on. You'll probably like some fireworks."

[steven]

Grey:Fiyerwurks.... sounds lovely! *proceeded to follow him*
