Young Jason walks into the shop, the dark air drawing him in. He slowly wanders through the shop, his eyes taking in what they can from each item...
Liona walks in, soon after, and follows Jason's path, curiously. ~I didn't expect to find any other students, here...~
Jason's eyes fall on the werewolf pelt in the back and he can't help but shudder, though it's light. He turns to Liona and blinks. "Have you been watching me?"
Liona smiles and shakes her head. "Not for terribly long, anyway. I was just wondering if you were from Catclaws?"
Jason nods. "Yep. I'm guessing you are, too?"
"Mhmm. Lira's the name."
"Jason. So... what aare you doing here? I figured I'd be alone... at least from the school..."
Liona shrugs. "I've been wanting to check this place out for a while... it looks... interesting... you?"
"About the same..."
Liona: *glare at me* STOP CALLING ME LIONA IN THE THREAD!! YOU'VE GOT ME SCREWING UP WHEN YOU KNOW I WOULDN'T!!!! Q: *rolls eyes* I fixed it, didn't I? Get over yourself, already. Jason: Eh? What's going on, now? Liona: ^.^ Oh, nothing. just a little misunderstanding. It's over, now, though. Q: *accidently had Li introduce herself as Liona...

Hmmm... why did I stop this when I did? Oh, yea. Cause I was gonna wait and see if anyone else wanted to reply... like Pathos... as this is her charrie's shop... Oh, well. I'm too bored to wait, and they're leaving soon, anyway.
"^.^ You like me, skippin class?"
Jason laughs lightly. "Nah, not with the OWLS comin' up." He stretches. "Ya wanna get outta here and look take a walk?"
Li blinks. "Sure." ~He's cute... a fifth year... in a dark arts shop... I wanna play with his hair...~
Jason leads Li out into the street. "So, what year are you, anyway?"
Li bluses slightly, a frusterated kind of blush... "Second year..." (not sure about that... >.< seems like she did the whole age thing before we skipped ahead over the summer months... X-D)
Jason smiles. "Don't be embarassed, it's just age, ya know.... and, besides... you're... kinda cute, really..."
Li blinks... quite caught off gaurd by that statement... "Y-you really think so?"
Jason nods. "Sure. Wouldn't've said it if it weren't true." ^.^
Li smiles, with a new kinda blush, looking to the ground. "Thanks... you're not so bad yourself."
Jason stops and takes her hand. "Then it's agreed?" he kisses her hand. "You wanna go on a date?"
"Huh? A-a date?"
"Heh... you a parrot or something? Yes, a date." joking to cover up the fear.
She blushes deeper and nods shyly. "Y-yea."

I'm just too bored for my own good. X-D
"So... anyplace you wanna go? Or you want me to pick?"
Li shook her head. "You can pick..."
"Cool... alright... how about we meet in the Cat's Eye, tomorrow about seven?"
Li nodded. "That's great. I'll be there."
Jay smiles and kisses Li's hand, again. "Alright, then. I'll see you tomorrow. I have a few things I wanted to get... and I kinda wanna do it alone, if you don't mind..."
Li blinks and nods. "Alirght.. that's fine... maybe I'll actually show up in class..."
Jay laughs lightly. "Until then, sweet Lil' li." ^.^ He walks off, back towards Pen's, as Li stays put, watching...
~Mysterious, too... wonder if he'd like Grandfather...~ She walks back towards the school as Jay dissappears back into the shop.

((Jesus sorry. I have been incommunicado for a while, haven't I?)) |He didn't speak. Of course he didn't. He liked to watch people, liked to see what was considered a 'normal' life, by the standards of wizards and witches. And it's part of his character, if you will, that section of you that takes notice of certain things. Much like he took notice of how the boy shuddered when he saw the werewolf pelt, or how the girl had obviously never been noticed by boys before. He pushed his hair back from his eyes. He'd gotten it cut last week, and it rioted about his head in unruly waves and curls, a shag style that made him look dangerous as well as seductive. He stood, then, and picked his way through a tiny aisle filled with curios, and settled himself, not behind the counter, but on top of it. A dragonhide shirt, today, black and shimmery-opalescent in the dim light. "Lucky her, to have the attentions of such a handsome boy." Surprisingly, this was said without sarcasm.|

Jason: *blink blink* ~I'm the one he notices?~ Li: *clight blushie* ^.^ yes, yes I am.

((Oh! duh... I said Jason went back in, didn't I? X-D heh... fuuun.... oh, and just FYI... Li's been noticed by guys... just none quite this close to her age... or nearly as attractive.))
Jason slowly walked back into the shop, in order to take a closer look around without the lovely distraction brought by young Lira. He slowly returned to the werewolf pelt, subconsiously wanting to force himself to become accustomed to such things. ~It isn't me... it doesn't matter...~

He cocked his head. Noted how tense the boy was. He didn't recognize him, so he must be fairly new to the school. "I could put it away, if you'd like," he offered. "I've also some some charms that are supposed to ease the change." Perceptive Jesse. "My name is Penn, by the way. This is my store. If you'd like to see something in particular, let me know."

He shook his head... "Thanks... but I'd rather face it..." he sighed as he turned to face Penn. "Am I that obvious? The name's Jason."

He shook his head, allowing one corner of his mouth to quirk up. Just the barest hint of a smile, dark and sardonic. "Of course not, cub. You've a long road ahead of you, though, and I hardly envy you. The wizarding government is not very...lenient...when it comes to Dark things." Werewolves bein classified, of course, as Dark Creatures, and Jesse a Dark wizard...More in common than you'd think. "Is there something special you're looking for? One of those charms I mentioned? I've been told that they work."

"Trust me... I'm very much aware of the... issues surrounding the dark arts. I've been among dark things my entire life." he shrugged carelessly. "What types of charms would you be talking about? I've used quite a few..."

He rolled his shoulders, lifting a hand to twirl one shiny sable-brown lock of hair around his finger. The other hand crooked, made a spider-grasp at the counter that he perched upon. Then his muscles smoothed out again. "Quite a few. Mostly potions, of my own design, of course. A few things I picked up when I was in Tibet." He bit his lip and smiled, looking devilish. "Fetishes from Africa, and wax dolls from the Philipines. Take your pick. I've most of my potions in the back room, but the rest are in here." He gestured expansively around the room. "I've no idea how well those work, though."

He tilted his head slightly, curiously. "Well traveled, then? Did you find everything in this store yourself?"

He nodded. "Of course. I've been everywhere you've heard of, cub, and probably a few places that you haven't. All the items in this shop are either of my own design, or I purchased them elsewhere." He waved his hand towards an ornately carved wooden box on one of the shelves that decorated the walls of the shop. "I doubt you've heard of it, but the wand in that box came from Nauru. It was made in 1888, during the height of the tribal wars there. Very powerful, and absolutely soaked in blood."

He smiled a bit of a dark smile as he eyes the box. "Nauru... sounds familiar. Can't quite place where I've heard it, though."

He slid off the desk and busied himself with the shelves around the room, rearranging things and generally making it more difficult for customers. "Most likely in your history class. Nauru and the republic of Congo were the sites of the largest single wizard's duel in the world. Hundreds of African tribes, muggles to the last, led by their tribal chiefs, who were wizards. It was a doomed battle from the beginning. No one survived." He took down the wooden box and took it back over to the counter, where he contemplated it.
