"Oh," she said, disappointedly. "Thank you anyway. I suppose I can just wander untill I find someone from my house. By the way, you seem very young to be a teacher. How long have you been teaching for, if you don't mind my asking?"

Daniel smiles kindly. "I see... thats why... quite understandable. I still couldnt find my office after 3 months of working here."

She laughed, unusually comfortable. She normally didn't make friends this easily. "It was like that at Batfangs, my old school. My transfiguration teacher threatened on multiple occasions to turn me into a map because I was always getting lost."

"i see... not very kind teachers, were they? See, my view is if you make it fun, students want to remember and be there." he smiles. "You respect the student, the student respects you. You please the student, the student wants to please you... there are some exceptions, but that is rare."

She nodded. "My charms teacher was like that, too. She was always making jokes in the middle of class."

"As it is for me, sir. I'mnot quite used to teachers like you. My old ones were," she looked for a proper word. "anti-social amongst their students."

"Bah. That is the way the muggles do things. And you see the intelegence of them? That is surely not the way to do things."

"There I must disagree with you, sir. My parents, both of whom are muggles, are quite intelligent." She said it in a kind way so as not to sound hurt.

"I did not mean them all, and i am sorry to offend you... but in general... not your parents... they are a bit under the literacy rate. And not to mention, all they do is fight. Generalization... not your parents... It seems all they ever do is try to kill eachother over land..." he sighs. "You hate me already, dont you?"
